Mark brings up a great question.
I have been toying with buying some 180’s for my car and really like the looks of Mark D’s and Will’s engine bays with their 180’s.
I have looked at both Precision Pro Formance’s and Hall’s systems. I really like the looks of Precision's and the way they come straight out the back of the car. I, however, would have a hard time justifying the extra $1000.
From looking at the pictures on Hall’s site it is hard to see where the slip joints are on their system. Also the Hall’s do not appear to hug the block as tight (as best as I can tell from the pictures on their site) making me wonder if you can use your stock rear deck struts. 4NHOTROD did mention that you can use the stock rear deck struts with Precision’s 180’s.
I have considered buying the Hall’s and then cutting them and welding them to make them run out the back like Precision’s 180’s. I have also considered fabricating my own from scratch.
