I am personally of the mind set that a 351C belongs in the engine bay of a Pantera. It is a great motor with canted valve heads giving it an advantage over any other motor its size.
The new heavy duty 351C block is not on the market yet, but its close. Its available in either aluminum or cast iron.
Another alternative, besides a Cleveland or a Windsor is a mod motor.
How about 450 BHP, 4.6 liters, IR fuel injection, $15,000
Or, 600 BHP, 6.0 liters, 4 barrel carburetor, $15,000
Or, 600 BHP, 4.6 liters, blown & fuel injected, $17,500
All 3 are crate engines available from Sean Hyland Motorsports.
