I would go so far as to say that 37000 CDN would be a rather generous offer, and I would take it without giving it much thought. The car sounds like a good candidate for a restoration - there are cars in better shape for that money right now.

She might hold off and find someone in a couple of years willing to spend a grand more, but I'd bet against it.

According to Yahoo, that's a shade over $30.000 USD, which is more than I would have estimated it was worth...
