What New Wheels ?

I have a GT5, #09178. As we all know the front tires are nearly impossible to find them and when we do the price is rediculious.
So I am going to spend the money and finally upgrade the wheels and end this problem.

I want to keep the new wheels as close to the original look as possible.

From the experience of those that upgraded, who has the best and correct wheels ?

Also, what is the advantage of going to 17" front and 18" rears ? vs 17" all the way around ?
