If you don't care about unsprung weight and good to sharp handling, then use the 18" 17" combo. Check under your right front fender and see if there is a box like protrusion up inside next to the dash panel for the windsheild wiper motor. You will possibly need to cut,remanufacture, re close this opening when going to a non stock wheel. I suspect that the GT5 has this protrusion as do the GT5-S cars. If not there, you are a bit luckier as far as wheel fitting is concerned. You will still have to carefully consider wheel offsett issues. However, if you have to do the wiper motor box thing, and consider the down time, handling issues, you might reconsider the original tires as a better buy. YOu can still get them. Best of luck.
