Detom,

I see your point but nothing is impossible .. back when the PANTERA was in the concept phase I GUARRANTEE the same thoughts went thru Detomaso at some piont also. But never say never.

George I agree the Corvette is the basis of cost and sorry this is a PANTERA site but that Corvette is a dam good car for the price. It beats cars 2 3 4 times its price on a daily basis on the TRACK.

COMP2 I personally own a 1988 AUTOCRAFT COBRA it has a 88 5,0 EFI and as many have written the small block was hard to beat. Well with out a long description of the SPECS of the car its very fast. It is a manufacturered car thats perfect in every way.

CHARLIE , I agree nothing is impossible and maybe SANTIAGO is not the man to do it. Statistics show that LIFETIME businesses die with the owner. Is this the case. I personaly know there is a lot of money in selling a successful business. The iron is hot but slowly cooling, the owner with the vision os gone. The company needs a vibrant, driven, person with some American Marketing to build and sell these cars. My perspective the PANTERA is NOT a very difficult car to produce. The basis is there. To start from scratch is crazy.
