Reply to "Whats it worth?"

There is no book value to establish. Guides that you read are authored by Sci-Fi writers.
They see numbers floating around in their heads and write down whatever they can remember.

The car is worth whatever the buyer and the seller can agree upon that day.

The trend lately is up. Speculators tend not to be actuaries and go on instinct. You won't find Panteras listed in the DOW.

US '74s are amongst the rarest of the cars. Does that make them more valuable?

I think the factory GT's and the factory GT5's will be the most sought after in the future.
They aren't better cars, just different and rare.

The US cars that you can drive right now are the easiest to maintain.

There are more then one train of thought present amonst current Panterphiles. Buy what you can afford to maintain (if that is possible).
