David, you raise a good point. I took the back wheel off my car and can clearly see that the wheel is centered snugly on the ring (register) that protrudes from the hub. A viable adapter has to mimic that design. One of the reasons I started this thread to was get this type of information ahead of time and avoid damage to the wheels, studs, hubs and so forth. I can envision the shearing forces that will occur without the properly fitting rings (hub centric) in place. Thanks.
