wheel offset???

i would like to order custom wheels from someone like Weld Racing or the like...

can anyone exlain to me the offset required to fit 17' rims in my stock body 74 'non flared?...and is this the measurment from the hub mounting surface to the inner edge of the rim?

Hall offers a set that hold 335-35 17 in the rear that fit in stock body,but i dont think he would give up the specs to get my own...

Further,i have after market brakes that have the rotor mounted on the outer hub sandwiched between the hub and rim...i imagin i have to consider this too...
