Wheel Studs

Having bought some new wheel nuts, I believe they were newly chrome plated.

Some of them are Very tight on the wheel studs, I have tried a 12mm bolt to check the thread size but cannot seem to obtain a bolt to fit.

Can someone tell me the studs thread size please.
