Coolbreeze,

Just becareful with the butyl rubber. It does not like temperature so much. I would worry about it with the exhaust running through the suspension.

Maybe the clearace would be enough, but just throwing it out there. All the OEM's I deal with have moved away from the butyl into an EPDM material.
