That ad for the white Pantera has been there for about a year. I personally called on the maroonish Pantera in the second ad mentioned and was told by the person answering the phone that it was sold in 2000. So much for finding standalone ads.

In my case, the car was for sale on eBay and I kept bidding on it. The reserve wasn't met by the end of the bidding, despite the fact that I was the high bidder, so I contacted the seller and asked about an "out-of-auction" sale.

The rest is history and "Sophia" now has a new home.....

P.S. -- Yes, we name our cars in my household -- LOL
