If you buy a car that has been restored and it is "cheap", the car is not restored but wrather "freshened up". These cars are 30+ years old. It still needs restoration. All you have done is buy some time. A truely restored car will be $50K and upwards.

All your doing with a car that's been "freshened up" is buing yourself time before you really restore it.
