While I agree with the expectations that businessmen need to keep pace with the times, you have to temper that with the FACT that nobody is getting rich servicing the Pantera hobby. These good people do what they do because they are passionate about Panteras like you and I. They are small business owners with small staffs, if any. They do not have somebody sitting at the computer answering e-mail 3 times per day. Add to this the fact that each Pantera vendor is one of a small handful of vendors that service the needs of perhaps 2000 to 3000 active owners around the world, and may receive 30 or more inquiries per day via e-mail, phone calls and faxes.

When you contact Panteras by Wilkinson or Pantera Performance Center or Hall Panteras or PI Motorsports, you are not contacting a business the size of Summit Racing. These folks do all they can each day with their limited resources, and that's all they can do. Finally, consider the fact that none of them are getting any younger. They deserve our support for all they do to make this hobby viable. They also deserve the same understanding and respect any of us expect from our business associates. Each vendor is a valuable member of the Pantera/DeTomaso community, just like each of us here on the forums, they are not outsiders, in fact they have been involved in this hobby longer than most of us here. They deserve the same kindness we show each of our fellow DTIC members. Its not us verses them, its WE.
