Reply to "Where to find hard brake lines?"

I'm not young, but I agree. I can drop cash faster than a gambler with on-line mailorder. Hell, I buy things I don't need because I see them. In my most recent parts debacle, had there been an interactive parts catalog, I'd have had my parts in one fell swoop. As it stands, I had to talk to several kind people here, place 4 orders with 2 vendors and spend an hour or so on the phone. I could have done this in 10 minutes with a picture on a web page and I could have been working for my employer at the same time.

I like talking to the vendors, and I think it is VERY good to establish a relationship, but sometimes you just need some stuff. If a vendor had a web page like that, they would get 100% of my business. Until then, my projects slow until I get time to make a zillion phone calls.
