As it stands, I had to talk to several kind people here, place 4 orders with 2 vendors and spend an hour or so on the phone. I could have done this in 10 minutes with a picture on a web page and I could have been working for my employer at the same time.

I like talking to the vendors, and I think it is VERY good to establish a relationship, but sometimes you just need some stuff. If a vendor had a web page like that, they would get 100% of my business. Until then, my projects slow until I get time to make a zillion phone calls.

Just my 2 cents

I agree 100% I buy hundreds of things online every year. I don't have time to sit and ask questions quite often the secretary cannot answer. A good business would not spend their time on the phone. I just spent yesterday morning at a bearing shop wasting a good mans time and in the end I went back to my computer, did the research on my own...Because I knew what I wanted...Walked back in and ordered it.

I don't think the Pantera vendors truly understand the market for some one willing to set it up right. Sure occasionally you need to talk to some one. We do 10x the things we did 20 years ago. We are on the phone when we need to but 9 times out of 10 internet research is always better then some one telling you you need gizmo b and that's all that is available.

So many Vendors, not one has a good web based setup.
