Champ, Steve Wilkinson in the U.S and Santiago DeTomaso partner in reproducing OEM DeTomaso parts, from the original suppliers when possible. Santiago, son of the founder in Modena, IT, has all of the company records, most of the original drawings etc and runs a small business there selling such vital parts. Wilkinson does the same here as do a very few others. But none of this is cheap. Many of the original suppliers are gone after 44 years, so differences exist in many of the reproductions- some better, some not-so-much.
And not all parts are available, either NOS or repros. But each year they release as many as the two of them can afford to have built. Factories do not produce onesy-twosie volumes so they have to have 200-or-so made of anything they think will sell, to a VERY limited market. We should support such gallant efforts, methinks.
