which distributor?

well, it wont be long now !,almost ready to drop the motor back in the ol girl! just finished up engine bay area. i've been reading through all the threads, and now i'm totally CONFUSED !! which distributor do you guys suggest?, i already have a MSD blaster coil, wired using the factory pantera wiring diagram,there is no ballast resistor, ( do i need one ? )......there is one dark blue wire that comes off the - side of coil, ( to distributor ? )i would like to go ELECTRONIC but do not plan on an MSD box, i was thinking about the ready to run pro billet from MSD, any opinions are greatly appreciated, i've also heard the nightmares about distributor gears !, are the gears supplied with these distributors OK out of the box ?.........thanx .......DAVE
