I have heard recently a bunch of guys having issues with MSD ..my personal experience ..I ran the Ford MotorSport Blue MSD system back on my Drag Race car and never had an issue ... one thing I know they talk about HEAT and preventing it from over heating the components .. I dont think there are many options besides MSD and Mallory .. I used Accel back when point were around.

I'll have to contact MSD and see what they recommend.
