Personally, I think you should lower your expectians. You can build a tourquy motor that does not go to 8G. The power will start falling off over 6-65 anyway. I keep bringing up my drag race motor...but we shift at 6600 and finish @ 6200. We tweeked the trans to shift at 7500 but we picked up no speed or quicker ET. Just caused some smoke to come out.
