David, sorry to hear about what happened with you and your car -- I hope you talk to a lawyer to see if you can get it knocked down a little bit. I know the best defense in a situation like that here in the states is that ".... I was just keeping up to traffic ...." which I am sure was your case. If you were weaving in and out of traffic would be another thing, but if you were just doing what everyone else was doing and they pulled you over because of a sharp car, you may get some sympathy from the judge -- ask a lawyer and see what they say.
