Which side of the shuttle valve is probably less important that the fact that the whole valve is useless. All it does is turn on a red warning light IF you have thin brake pads with ground wires in them. Unless you've drilled your new pads, the light will never light up. The stock proportioning valve also is useless since it was set for 185-70x 15 front tires & 205-70x 15 rears. ANY other tire size throws the balence off. Finally, the std Wilwood pads are very hard, for long wear. I suggest you try some slightly stickierPorterfield pads. And discard the non-functioning plumbing in your brake system
