Yes I have used the Wilwood mechanical caliper & all I can say is I would not even use them on a Go Kart.
They do not work, simply not enough leverage & too small a brake pad area.
This is a big issue in regards to suitable hand brake calipers, theres very little on the market.
Most that are available have tiny brake pads.
When I installed the Wilwood mechanical calipers I replaced the original cables with push/pull morse type cables.
Also extended the lever arm on the caliper to 150mm long to increase leverage.
Still does not really work as the pads are way too small & leverage is still really lacking.

I'm going to try BMW hand brake calipers from the rear of an 05' Mini.
(I have 4 piston Wilwoods on the rear for stopping).
