Reply to "windscreen fitting"

Done it many many times. Make sure the trim is in place flawlessly. I use Armor All. Spray a bit on the rubber, put the bottom lip in first and slowly push the screen down as deep as possible. Now I use a hook---slowly hook the rubber on the bottom of the A post and pull it up allowing the rubber lip to fold over the pinch weld. Do both sides. Now the top is still out---make the top corner transition using the hook. Don't over pull the rubber if it is binding---you may need to push the screen down towards the bottom again. Once the corners are pulled in, the top will run in easy. Make sure the hook is not binding or punching into the rubber. Hard to explain how to use a tool like this---best I can do. You can use a string---I prefer a windshield/windscreen hook.

It sounds harder that in is---use the Armor All---stays slick the entire time. Need more explanation, give me a call after 8 am EST at 419-344-1848 (cell)

Good luck
