Windshield wiper attachement to studs?

Hi Team,
if I put the windshield wipers on the studs they are a bit loose, as the stud cap grooves are a bit "flat".
Any thoughts how to make the wipers stay fixed?
I am thinking of drilling a small hole tap an M3 thread into it? Not sure how easy this will be.
