Reply to "Wiper and Washer Switch Wiring"

Verrry easy. Take you Power Probe & first find out the ~hots~ you're working with. Remember which TWO are hot. Now + power OUT to available wires. Washer for example, one comes in hot, THEN you find with the Power Probe which wire spins the washer pump. Bingo done. Now simply connect those two and forget that switch. Wiper? NP. Remember the one positive in. Power out the others to see which makes the wipers run slow. Ditto, fast. Now you're almost done. At this point, hold the switch in hand, power IN to any male. Simply flip to low switch position, & add the ~low~ that made the wipers work...to that male. Click to position 2, do the same.

If you don't have a Power Probe, use a VOM or test light. It's simple electrics. You're just finding whats hot, sending it on it's way to power up the wiper motor, & the outer, do the same. Send the power ~OUT~ of the switch to the wire that made the squinter pump buzz.

You'll be done in less than 10 minutes.
