All understood. Your picture shows the exact issue that I have with driver side parking.

My floorpans are lowered 2". My line of sight is down the hood.

The wipers are directly in the line of sight.

You might notice the difference more if you drove your car for a while without any wipers or obstruction of view?

For me, the wipers will just be there for essentially "a rain emergency".

Whether or not they cover two inches of the lower windshield is not really an issue for me.
