Wiper Switch

I am in need of the windshield wiper switch for a 71 Pre L. I am having trouble getting the knob off of my switch... is there a trick Im not seeing to get mine off I am depressing the ball and the knob refuses to move. But in case my switch is bad I want a spare here.
