Reply to "Wipers...RH or LH???"

I know that if a person imported a non-US car themselves into the US, there will be a metal tag pop-riveted to the drivers doorjamb. The tag will have the name of that person and the date.
I think that one can identify the US cars by the serial number of the car. I am not 100% certain about that though. I think that there are some non-us cars built in between the US run.
CowBoyFromHell, I just call him GP since he is a Pantera Executive, can confirm it as a US car from the number.

I think that only the 74 US cars park the wipers on the right side. You can change this by changing the wiper grills and the location of the wiper pivots from one to the other.

There may be other parts involved internally, I don't know. I haven't done the change. Mine is stock. I have contemplated changing to the 74 location but thosed parts are difficult to find used and are pretty expensive new.

GP's car is a '74. I don't know if the switch over is worthwhile.
It is nice to have an unobstructed view as a driver. It is also nice to have the wiper/washer feature on the car.

Sometimes you need to clean things off of the windshield without stopping, i.e., bugs, dead cowboys, pieces of police motorcycles, Ferrari Guice loafers, etc.
