A very worthwhile modification... but there is the problem of it being a large amount of work during which the car is not driveable. And for me, my attention span is about 3 months; after that working on one aspect of the car ceases to be 'fun' and becomes a 'chore'. I'm still wondering about a gorgeous '74 once owned by a Lockheed engineer I knew, who became so disgusted with Joe Lucas' miserable unplated electrical contacts, he started in to convert his Pantera to all Mil-spec connectors & wires. 10 years later, his once-operational car was sold as a non-running project.....
