Yes, some owners have completely rewired using aftermarket kits as a starting point.

However, before going into this discussion you should know that there are still thousands of Pantera's operating without any problems using the stock wiring harness, and for that matter, there are also thousands of Pantera's using the stock fuse box assembly. Copper wire does not wear out from use, although wiring connectors often can stand inspection and cleaning to improve their conductivity.

Can you share with us the current status of the stock wiring system, and your motivation for installing a complete after market system?

We are here to help you, but undertaking such a vast project without truly needing to do so may not be the best use of your time.
