Hi Modok,
When I Trailer my Pantera on either my open trailer or my enclosed trailer I always use tie downs and I will explain how I do it. In the front of the car, underneath, about center of the lower A-arm, you will see a slanted slot in what I call the frame rails for lack of a better term that comes to mind (I have seen one Pantera that did not have these slots). I hook one of the tie down hooks in this and run the other end of the tie down to the opposite side of the car and attach it to a hook in the floor of the trailer. I then do the opposite side of the car the same. This has the tie downs criss crossed so that you get less side to side movement. Then at the rear I use axle straps around the rear cross member ( Beneath the rear of the ZF), one on each side. Then I hook my tie down through the loops on the axle straps and the other end to the floor of the trailer again. Do this to both sides ( the rear can not be criss crossed). I do not strap to the suspension, because I saw one Pantera that the suspension was damaged being trailered that way. Hope this helps. Unfortunately My photo shop is acting up and I cannot download any photos at this time, or I would show photos.
