Yes,

the newest diesel engines are sporting catalytic converters now, so Diesel engine motor oil (like Delos) has now been modified to make it safe for catalytic converters (among other things the zddp has been reduced).

My oldest son is a diesel mechanic, we discussed this very topic Saturday night.
