Why would you need to machine up stub shafts? Aren't they readily available as are a nice upgrade of CV axles to mate directly to those ZF stubs.

Either way there have been a number of scam ZF's for sale online, so before parting with money invest the time and effort to get someone local to put eyes on what you are buying.
