I agree with RRS. A definite Nay. I motor freighted mine across country in an enclosed box. Didn't use any padding, but wedged it in tightly with 2x4's. I've got pictures somewhere if you're interested. Since it is an aluminum casing it could be damaged. Pictures are recommended in case there is any damage during shipping and any questions come up about packing (as happened to another Pantera owner). And obviously get it insured. I believe it was Lloyd Butfoy who recommended a large plastic truck box which can be bought at WalMart.
