That's what I think too, but one of my old time race a four speed buddy says it looks great. The pressure plate is cast and you can feel the machine grooves in it, a lot courser finish. My friend says that being slick like it is gives more surface area to grab, makes sense to me... like a drag slick. Anybody else want to chime in here?
