ZF Transaxle Identification

Hi,

I am currently working on two Panteras. One car is a very early '72 model, the rear of the transaxle ist mounted to the middle of the rear chassis rails with a single bolt and rubber bushing, the differential and gearbox housings have matching serial numbers stamped on them. The other car is a mid '72 model with the transaxle mounted to the chassis with 2 lateral flanges and without any serial numbers on it.

My questions:

- How do i identify the transaxles, are they -1, -1.5 or -2 versions?

- Is it possible to swap the transaxles on the cars?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
