Reply to "Picture of an interesting Goose steering wheel ( Ferrero )"

...just looked on Provamo, 1290 seems to be the first car like the 8ma1298 dished wheel with 3 spokes,  with a few leather-wrapped wood wheels in the few cars made after. Every Mangusta  in Houston has the rare, highly desirable wood wheel without the leather wrap ( well, that M!ke and I know of at least) , maybe one out of 20 cars were shipped with the pure wood wheel including 8ma1236 (the Spider replica) and the recent BAT car (8ma1144). The wood wheel  is not simply without the wrap, the wood is reduced to accommodate the thickness of the leather, and the wood envelopes the end of the spoke.

Interesting is 8ma1146, which may have been completely wrapped by the owner.
