Someone obviously adheres to the school of thought that the patina adds character and is half the value of a work of art.

Me on the other hand, I've always wondered what a Pantera would look like with a white-wall tire on just the drivers' side, and now I know.

On a more serious note, the diameter of the WW tire looks quite a bit bigger than the one opposite it, so if they drove it like that for any distance that poor neglected ZF may have experienced some internal trauma.

Caveat Emptor!

But I'd still love to see what someone with the right resources could do with the car (but no way they should shell out anywhere near $29k as an admission price for this project)
Not to put a damper on those who are poking fun at these fine cars, but is it possible that they may actually be the storied, and ultra rare, Superleggera models crafted by the Käsemeisters of Switzerland using the age old Salzwasser und Vernachlässigung method passed down within the Bank Kartoffels? Or as the Italian's call it, the acqua salata e di abbandono technique of the secret order of the divano di patate?

How else can you explain the disconnect between the apparent condition and the asking prices?
