I was going to get new wiper Blades and arms
for 3840, the arms are matt black and the blades are chrome.
They do look old fashioned and the same logo is stamped on both blades and arms
"Arman @ C" with a logo in front rather like a double egg cup! would anyone know if these are original fitments please, if so I shall repaint the blades and re rubber the arms.

Hi Peter, I believe your car would have come with the twin beam carello pieces... like these... Does anyone know different..??

Yes the Armann arms are the OE and the double rod wiper blades are correct items as delivered from the factory.

I always thought this was the style of wiper arms delivered on the California / Arizona cars...

I do not know what style and/or brand of wiper blades were installed on which model year Panteras. But I do know without any doubt that at least some of the Ford-boxed replacement wipers were the twin-rod Carello version.

I stripped the layers of black paint, so will now get them painted Satin Black again.

You can use high quality aerosols: TRIM BLACK by SEM or SATIN TRIM BLACK by WURTH.
Easy to do at home
