Happy Sunday. My headlights are the last major system I need to resolve. Headlamps dont light and the headlight doors don’t raise. I tested the motor and it works. What terminal on the relay would I need to run power to to raise the doors. Red from headlight switch? Thanks.

Here is what I think… And i may be wrong… That happens too…

If you turn the switch on for the headlights, the headlights come on and then the Electric motor are raising the headlights.. The headlights themselves do not run through the big relay… when you turn the headlights off the lightbulbs go off and then the motor is lowering the headlight buckets!

I would almost bet that the headlight switch is bad.. (or fuse issue ) On the headlight switch, there is a wire white with a black stripe, which is the power to the light bulbs..

Start measuring on the headlight switch, or just rig it up with crocodile clamps..

keep in mind the headlights are working, even if the headlight buckets do not go up!

and because you have nothing working, I think it’s the switch

if you buy a new switch, you still have to test it because four out of five switches I bought did not work!!! (PIM is measuring every switch now before it gets shipped out )

as you can see the red and the white/black wire getting energized at the same time by the switch (they are squeezed into one terminal)
