Oh no Doug, not me. I was thinking more along the lines of C/Gass NHRA or bracket raceing. It would go something like this, about a half dozen of those disposable 351 windsors running 3000 horse off twin turbos, on of those tricked out, short case powerglide hooked to a Ford 9" detroit locker rear end. 23" wide wrinkle wall slicks, full roll cage, gutted interior, three inch wide fronts and line lock tranny, on of them bracket racing computer control boxes and all the fixins. I figure we can get her in to the sixes. What do ya think??
The three seat Pantera was a manual car, though it wasn't a ZF as far as saw it when I visited the factory in 2002. All Deauvilles were automatics but I do know that Roland converted one to a ZF manual. The LOngchamps were mostly automatics, about 24 were originally made with a ZF manual.
