Wind tunnel tests have never really been done on the Pantera so, for the most part, any thoughts on this subject are pure theory. But, old Pantera wisdom will tell you that there is no appreciable airflow that will enter these windows unless you install one of those large ears that stick out far enough to bite into the slip stream. I have a set on my car and they do help.

The one definite advantage to removing the quarter windows is better access to clean the large rear window.

I had mine removed for a couple of months and reinstalled them back on due hot air was blowing around my face when there was a breeze. Like Cyboman mentioned its only good for hot air to escape when idling or car is turned off. I didn't think any airflow came out when driving.
