Brake Pad Wear Sensor

I pulled the front calipers off of the car, but I can't find any provision for a brake pad wear sensor. The wires appeared to be "tied off" on each side. These appear to be correct Girling calipers. I also noticed that none of the vendors mention a sensor in any of their catalogs. Anyone have a working system? Was this a Euro thing?

They all had them OEM. Only way to now have them is to use OEM pads, NOS if you can find them.

But the OEM pads are worthless. You REALLY just want to go to Porterfield and order a set of their R4S compound. Ask them to attach the little doo-hickey on the rear pads so everything works as designed.
