The stock clutch cover is a Long 3-finger type with NO counterweights on the levers. Do NOT attempt to replace it with a 'hot-rod' clutch cover that has bob-weights on the levers. Upon starting, the weights swing out, contact the bellhousing and will shatter the reinforcing ribs in there. The noise alone will stop your heart....If you're really lucky, the clutch and most of the bellhousing will survive and still be operable. There are a LOT of Panteras running today with a roughly machined groove through the inner reinforcing ribs. The Centerforce is a diaphragm type clutch with sliding bob-weights that do clear the bellhousing. It is an excellent clutch that decresases the pedal force required to drive the car. But Centerforce uses the next size larger mounting bolts, in a smaller 10-1/2" diameter bolt circle. So you either also buy a pre-drilled-&-tapped Mustang flywheel along with the Centerforce clutch cover & disc, or get a machinest to re-drill and tap your OEM fywheel. Done properly, engine balence will not be affected either way.
