I was thinking about bringing the diff up to 75% lock up value. but after calculating the weight, the understeer factors at low speed corners, which become more positive with wider tires and HP, as you know, doing 583HP, running 13's, and calcualting the disk space allowed within the specs, i have decided that I an going to reconfigure the diff. to 40%. Amazing huh... :-))))

Besides, I don't want to do the grinding....But you know that already.

I'll call this week for the disks and the thrust bearings.

The tap on the top of the allens worked on 3, heat took care of ther rest. The race's came off no problem.

I am working on a bearing and bolt that will be to specs drilled and a lot better than what it's costing to make currently for distibution. Specially when you consider that some vendors want 168.00 for ring gear bolts. How rediculious is that ?

Also found that a major problem with the ring gear bolt heads sheering off is over tourqing when they installed. The cracks start long before the sheer.

See, I listen.

Thanks Lloyd. You are the man ! I do appreciate your help, patience and willingness to help regardless where I buy my parts and who does the job. There is a lot of honer in that. You have my respect, as little as that may be.

The ZF will be fine...I have you to make sure of that.
Thanks Lloyd.
