Hey John, Gary Herrig can be reached at glherrig@yahoo.com I have a set of his seats in my car and they are a fantastic improvment over the stock seats. You do lose some headroom and I put in Kirk Evan's Amerisport firewall reduction kit to get the full travel on the passenger seat, (gained about 2 inches) I am planning on putting the lowered seat pans in, in the near future. The quality of Gary's workmanship is excellent.
John,
I had Gary's seats in my car but took them out. They just didn't get me as close to the peddels as I wanted or as high as I wanted, being 5'3" and having a 4" dropped floor pan, and the color didn't match anything already there. But they were really nice seats and Gary did a great job on them.

I put my original seats back in for now but am going to go with simi-racing seats very soon in a dark brown if I can find them. Otherwise, I may just end up dying my interior black, which I really hate to do.

As for the leather trim, it was all factory stock on my car when I brought it over from Europe. It's a late model car, GT-5.

Yes, have made 100's of carbon fiber pieces mainly for motorcycles, ie, heel guards, huggers, side panels, fenders, etc. Haven't really made anything for the Pantera. Thought about it but with a Tan/Brown interior, I don't think the carbon fiber in black would look that great.

I may order some Brown carbon fiber and have been considering making the center console panel that holds the switches and gauges to see how it would look as a start. I could also make these in black if anyone might be interested.

Making carbon fiber pieces is VERY time consuming which is why it's expensive. First the molds have to be made, then the layout, then the triming and cut out, and then all the finishing it takes for them to be perfect looking, very labor intensive. Which is why I tend to stay with the smaller, simpler pieces that I currently make.
I have Gary's seats as well. Beautifully crafted with great workmanship. Mine are done with a high quality vinyl which matches the Pantera interior and black cloth inserts. They are about 1-2" higher than stock. I already bought my dropped floorpans (from Pantera East). I've sat in a car with Gary's seats and 2" dropped pans and at 6'2", I'll fit comfortably. Now I just have to find the time to install the pans!
When I had Gary do my interior, I sent him the material that the rest of my car was done in so everything matches. I had a guy here locally in Gainesville cover everything the firewall, armrests, console, door panels, dash etc. The L model dash was the most challenging piece to cover, we wound up having to use one of the woodgrain kits to cover the recessed area in the center.

THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT MY SEATS NOW MATCH THE REST OF THE INTERIOR AND ARE FAIRLY EXOTIC,BIG SIDES, THE FRONT SECTION EXTENDS OUT, LUMBAR ADJUSTMENT, SPEAKERS IN HEADREST, ETC. PASSENGER SEAT MUST BE PUT FORWARD SO THAT YOU CAN LEAN IT BACK. MAKES THE INTERIOR LOOK DATED. THE WRINKLE LEATHER LOOK OF THE LATER CARS HAS A NICE LOOK. GUESS I'LL HAVE TO PAY UP AND TALK WITH GARY THANKS JOHN
