Has anybody made their own door panels. I don't like the way the stock ones bend and flex. Over the years mine have bowed and bent. Also the part that screws into the top of the door is really tweaked.

I'm considering covering the top ledge of the door ( where you hang your arm out the windows ) with either polished or powder coated metal. Then making just a flat door panel out of thin wood and having it upholstered.

Has anybody done any custom door panels? Pictures? Thanks.

I am currently making real carbon fiber door panels, I made a mold of it and working on finishing the mold, then I could go ahead and make my carbon fiber panels, i'll probably make a mold from the cabron fiber panels so I could make mroe incase anyone else wanted them on their pantera.

Yeah, I made a set from 050 (more or less) aluminum. The top portion is seperate, since it does not lie in the same plane as the larger portion. Bending the top ledge to the window opening was hard since the forward part angles up. But it cam out nice. I'll see about getting some pics.
