I saw that thread and it looks like that guy is doing the Pantera justice. The proprtions will be a bit out of whack, but the detail is great. Those who aren't in the know will probably mistake it for a real one. He's doing a chopped version that will give the finished product better proportions

I must say, the Si copy (Predator) doesn't look at all bad either (at least in pictures). The design translates very well.

Might be pretty close. FWIW, I once owned an '87 Fiero at the same time as our '72 Pantera L. Parked side by side, the Fiero was an inch longer, an inch wider and an inch higher than the Pantera- even with the L bumpers. Yet everyone seems to think the Pantera is 'big' and the Fiero is 'small'. Also, a Fiero car cover is a tailor-made fit on a wing-less Pantera.

Thats real interesting Bossman, I always thought the Fiero was much smaller... mind illusion I suppose.
FWIW, when our Pantera was down for a home-made paint job (14 months- I'll never attempt THAT job again!) we autocrossed the Fiero in C/stock with Kumho street tires- and won the N. CA Championship (12 events) in both mens & women's divisions, against hordes of Miatas, Acuras, 240Z's and other small-bore cars. While the mid-engined Fiero had almost zero power relative to the Pantera, it handled well and the A/C always held its charge!
