Made from unobtainium, they are.
No interchange from other cars. No one ever upgrades to another style and has them sitting on a garage shelf.
There are replacement buckets now available, Though the early ones failed to have the proper curve in them for them to flushly fit the door curvature, I think the latest sets fixed this. You can rechrome the shiny pieces, and maybe fab pieces for small broken parts.
But if you need the whole unit, you probably will just have to start calling vendors and get the bad new$
Heck, vendor Roland in Germany just recently bought a set off USA eBay for around $400-500. that ought to tell you something, eh?
